BMW M2 G87 Riviera RF107

When BMW launched the G87 BMW M2, it made one thing clear. This is a driver’s car with unapologetically muscular proportions. Its wide, boxy wheel arches and aggressive, blocky styling give it an incredible presence right out of the box. However, like most factory performance cars, the stock wheel fitment leaves a bit of room for improvement.

We recently had a beautiful Black BMW M2 G87 roll into the workshop for a massive upgrade. The weapon of choice? A staggered, ultra deep concave set of our Riviera RF107 flow-formed alloy wheels. Let’s break down why this combination is a match made in automotive heaven.

The Riviera RF107 is designed for those who want their wheels to look intricate, premium, and menacing all at once. The RF107 features a unique and captivating multi-Y-spoke face design. The sharp, split 5 double-spoke architecture stretches all the way to the outer barrel, making the wheel look visually larger than its actual diameter.

For this black-on-black M2 build, we selected our signature Black Polished Dark Tint finish. Under shadow, it blends seamlessly with the dark paintwork. But as soon as the light hits the polished accents, the dark tint reveals the complex physical contours of the face, striking a perfect balance between stealth and detail.

Beyond looking great, the RF107 is manufactured using the latest flow forming technology. By stretching and compressing the aluminium under intense heat and pressure, the barrel becomes thinner, stronger and significantly lighter than the cast alternative. This reduces unsprung weight, keeping the M2’s legendary handling, acceleration and braking razor-sharp.

The G87 BMW M2 is built with massive wheel arches that practically beg for wider wheels. To give this beauty the aggressive stance it deserves, we chose a staggered 20-inch setup with 20x10J on the front & 20x11J on the rear.

By utilising the 10J front and 11J rear widths, we were able to run a deep concave profile all around whilst maintaining a staggered look & keeping the OEM tyre sizes. Rather than a flat wheel face, the spokes plunge steeply from the outer rim edge down into the centre cap, giving the car incredible depth when viewed from any angle.

We dialed in the offsets to push the wheels perfectly out to the edges of the boxy G87 arches. The result is a perfect flush fitment with zero poke and absolutely no rubbing. When you look down the side of the vehicle, the tyres sit perfectly inline with the bodywork, transforming the M2 from a standard sports coupe into a wide, road-hugging monster.
